Tyndale is a Preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education.
About the role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed Educators to fulfil the casual role of Early Childhood Educator in our Early Learning Centre (2-5 years).
Tyndale Early Learning Centre offer Preschool and Prep programs with dedicated indoor and outdoor learning spaces for children aged two to five years providing an environment that prepares them for their transition to Kindergarten and beyond. The Centre is an integral part of the larger Tyndale Christian School community which comprises more than 900 students in total.
Our Early Learning Centre operates from 7:00am to 6.00pm five days per week 48 weeks of the year and operates under the National Quality Framework that governs Early Childhood Education and Care Services.
Essential Criteria
Christian of aReformed/Evangelical persuasion who is an active member of a Reformed/Evangelical church
Whole-heartedly subscribe to the SchoolsEducational Creed
have obtained or are actively working towards a degree diploma or certificate in early childhood education or a related field that is accredited by the Australian Childrens Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
have an ability to work collaboratively with other educators administrators and parents to create a positive learning environment for young children
have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with families colleagues and other stakeholders
have a genuine passion for working with children
Desirable Criteria
have experience engaging in the documentation of childrens learning
possess a current first aid certificate asthma and anaphylaxis training and the completion of a recognised child protection course
