Job Summary
Work Schedule: Fulltime 3/12hr Weekend shifts (7am 7pm).
Scrub and circulating experience preferred.
We have 14 OR suitesoffering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties includingortho spine robotic retina and performover 10000 surgical cases annually using some ofthe most advanced technologies such asStryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform OrthAlign Precision Navigation and Medtronic StealthStation Navigation.

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
- Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple sometimes conflicting data sets and synthesizing their interrelationships.
- Formulates individualized plans of care based upon assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.
- Supports and empowers patients and families as they progress through the healthcare continuum from health promotion to end of life decisions.
- Advocates for patients rights from the patient/family perspective and provides counsel and acts as a resource to resolve issues.
- Anticipates ethical spiritual and cultural needs of patients/families and assists staff in assessing patients learning needs.
Operating Room Registered NurseRequirements:
- Experience:Requires a minimum of1 yearof direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Education:BSN or ADN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- License:Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
- Certification:Basic Life Support with American Heart Association.
