As the HSSE Specialist you will implement and manage Health Safety Security and Environmental (HSSE) initiatives for a key JLL Work Dynamics account. Your primary mission is to foster a culture where JLL employees are SAFER every day whether in the workplace or beyond while balancing compliance and collaborating effectively with the client. This highly visible fast-paced role requires collaboration with regional Operations Engineering Risk & Compliance Finance HR Projects and Client Corporate Real Estate Team leads.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Providetimely relevant information and expert counsel on HSSE matters to critical stakeholders
Identifyand mitigate HSSE risks proactively while managing and reducing operational risks across the account
Implement Global and Regional Work Dynamics HSSE strategicobjectivesand contribute to JLLs Divisional HSSE strategy development
Manage incident and accident investigations and ensure compliance with legal requirements and Client Risk Control Standards
Use leading indicators todeterminesite risk and develop improvement plans while managing performance KRIs aligned with client expectations
Nurture relationships with the client HSSE team and drive annual planning to exceed client expectations
Spendsignificant timeon client sites and travel as needed (30-40%) to effectively lead the HSSE team
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in OHS (HSSE) Engineering or relatedfield;or equivalent experience
Minimum2 years of experience in HSSE facility and operations leadership
Proventrack recordin developing and implementing strategic operating plans
Strong teambuilding and leadership abilities with experience managing large global multi-cultural teams
Excellent multitasking delegation and crisis management skills
Impactful communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Management system development implementation and auditing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
GSP ASP working towards a CSP CHMM or CIH certification
Masters Degree in Occupational Safety and Health
Proficiencyin relevant computer applications and digital tools
Agile approach to leadership and stakeholder management
Strong cultural awareness and ethical standards
Ability to train tough audiences
Experienceidentifyingimprovement opportunities and implementing cost-effective solutions
