Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to handle Oregon-specific claims in a 100% remote capacity. This role is responsible for managing the full life cycle of workers compensation claims while ensuring compliance with Oregon statutes regulations and best practices.
Salary/Benefits:
- $75000 to $95000 annual base salary plus bonus (based on performance)

Requirements:
- Minimum 25 years of Workers Compensation claims adjusting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Oregon Workers Compensation laws and regulations
- Oregon Workers Compensation Adjuster license (or ability to obtain if applicable)
- Experience handling lost-time claims preferred
- Strong organizational analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of Oregon workers compensation claims from inception through closure
- Investigate claims determine compensability and establish appropriate reserves
- Coordinate medical care communicate with injured workers employers attorneys and medical providers
- Ensure compliance with Oregon Workers Compensation laws rules and reporting requirements
- Evaluate and manage litigated and non-litigated claims
- Prepare documentation reports and file notes in accordance with internal standards
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate claim handling in accordance with best practices and service-level expectations
