The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing Physical Therapy services as prescribed by a physician/provider. The PTA is responsible for observation following the Plan of Treatment and documenting activities and findings in the clinical record and reporting to the physician/provider any patient reactions to treatment and any changes in the patients condition. The PTA works under the Physical Therapist.
Qualifications :
- Active Florida License as a PTA
- One year experience as PTA in a SNF or Hospital Rehab or Hospital Setting
- Current CPR
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and community
- Excellent and high level written and verbal communication skills that reflects positively on the hospital
- Due diligence to detail
- Ability to organize and work independently
- Demonstrate understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures
