Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Civil and Interior Apprentice to join our Project and Development Services team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop skills across both civil engineering disciplines while working on diverse commercial real estate projects under the guidance of industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and senior technicians with civil works and interior fit-out projects
• Support the preparation of drawings specifications and design documents
• Help conduct site surveys and inspections for ongoing projects
• Learn to interpret architectural and engineering plans
• Assist with material selection space planning and finish schedules
• Support quality control processes and compliance with building codes
• Document project progress through notes photographs and reports
• Participate in client and team meetings as required
• Learn project management tools and software applications

Requirements

• Basic understanding of construction principles and interior design concepts
• Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning skills
• Proficiency with basic computer applications
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Willingness to work in both office and construction site environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of courses in civil engineering or construction management
• Basic knowledge of CAD software
• Understanding of sustainable building practices
• Familiarity with construction materials and methods
