Job Title: Engineering Support Specialist II

Location: Edinburgh United Kingdom

We are an opportunity for aEngineering Support Specialist II to join our team inEdinburgh.Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Aerospace products. You will work closely with engineering leadership on managing data collection and processing documenting product specifications and processes and technical illustrations. You will help coordinate project planning and scheduling act as a liaison between engineering groups and provide data reporting for both internal and external customers.


You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Supervisor who is based in Yeovil UK and youll work out of our Edinburgh UK location on a hybrid work schedule

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for providing intermediate-level support for one or more programs/projects and sets/achieves day-to-day objectives that have some impact on others within the job area. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Support and share robust configuration management processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration issues
  • Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on configuration management best practices. Participating in configuration audits to verify compliance with requirements. Ensure changes to product configurations are properly documented controlled and communicated
  • Processing design data releases and changes. Creating and revising EBOMs. Ensuring the integrity of EBOM data as it transitions from PLM to SAP. Serving as a focal for CM tool related questions and issues to individuals within the organization. Communicating and influencing CMADS objectives and initiatives

You Must Have

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science or 2 years relevant experience
  • Some experience in configuration management in the aerospace industry. Some knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices. Good analytical and problem-solving skills

We Value

  • Experience with configuration management tools and software
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements AS9100
  • Knowledge of industry standards for aerospace products EIA649 and DEF-STAN-57
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
