Job Summary
Primary function of the position:
We are looking for engineers who have the mindset of continuous improvement combined with a pragmatic approach. The responsibility of an Industrial Engineer includes collaboration with several interface partners like R&D Quality Service Logistics and Production to implement a lean value stream a design for manufacturing a smooth material and information flow in a structured layout and as well best fixtures tools and work instructions for the operators.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Mission Vision and Shared Values of Intuitive Surgical.
- Identify and drive implementation of projects designed to improve quality and efficiency reduce cost increase flexibility and capacity using lean and six sigma principles as appropriate.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure alignment of goals and priorities. Key functional teams to align with include Engineering/Design Planning Assembly Logistics Service and Quality
- Compliance with the current QMS DOPs and SOPs and the safety regulations
Qualifications :
Required Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- BE/BS in Industrial Engineering or similar education
- initial work experience and experience in the medical device industry is desirable
- willingness to work in a clean room and to wear gloves as well as ESD clothing
- basic knowledge in lean production
- basic knowledge in MS Office applications SAP and CAD knowledge desirable
- high motivation and a proactive work attitude to take the initiative and work efficiently with others in the team
- good analytical problem solving and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and handle multiple smaller projects
- good communication skills to build up internal/external relationships
- very good level written and verbal communication skills in German and English

Gegebenenfalls werden die Kandidaten über die diesbezüglichen Anforderungen informiert und angewiesen
