File Room Clerk is responsible for the management and maintenance of employee personnel files. Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Chief of Personnel duties include but are not limited to:
-Perform maintenance of the personnel file room and the storage of personnel records.
-Ensure personnel files are alphabetized and perform review of the accuracy of filed records.
-Maintain a log of employee records and related data entry.
-Requisition of employee files and maintain log of files removed from the file room or archives.
-Filing of documents and make copies upon request.
-Archival of inactive files work on coordination with the Facilities Unit on the transfer of the records.
-Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
-Perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications :
Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a States department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
