One challenge for process manufacturing operations is that early site works executed without strict technical governance and interface control can irreversibly compromise safety schedule integrity CAPEX discipline and long-term industrial performance before the core project even starts.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Scope: support a large industrial revamping with complex early works EPCM interfaces and high regulatory exposure. You act as the Managers right hand to turn early-phase ambiguity into execution readiness.

1. Supporting projects by facilitating communication and progress
- Assist the single point of accountability by coordinating agendas minutes and action-log tracking.
- Support planning and day-to-day coordination of early works with EPCM and contractors.
- Prepare weekly EPCM coordination routines site workshops logistics and on-site technical reviews.
- Coordinate stakeholder inputs (internal teams contractors authorities site owner) and organize handovers to main civil works.
- Draft decision-oriented visit reports; compile weekly/monthly progress summaries and KPI updates.

2. Supporting projects with rational data-driven assessments
- Maintain risk registers (soils/contamination live utilities access/logistics unforeseen conditions) and escalate issues early.
- Check alignment of early-works schedule with the master schedule; update look-ahead plans.
- Verify spatial references/data consistency across packages; run readiness checklists for demolition access logistics sequencing.
- Maintain budget trackers and purchase requests; flag deviations; support quality control procedure roll-out.
- Aggregate compliance evidence (specs standards permits) and keep documentation auditable.

3. Supporting projects through high-quality execution deliverables
- Draft RFQ inputs for geotechnical investigations; assist vendor pre-qualification and shortlisting.
- Help define demolition and utilities-for-demolition scopes; support live-utilities identification and LOTO documentation with HSE.
- Prepare working files for utilities rerouting strategies and sequencing.
- Compile site plans and reports: surveys demolition/clearance temporary facilities grading/earthworks access/logistics.
- Assemble geotechnical RFQ packages vendor recommendations and utilities rerouting reports.
- Organize permit dossiers and early-works readiness assessments for EPC phases.
- Maintain complete traceable records (PDF/DWG layouts technical notes MoMs site reports action logs).

Experience sought (medior)
- 36 years in civil engineering or industrial construction (brownfield exposure is a plus).
- Hands-on experience supporting geotechnical demolition and live-utilities coordination.
- Familiar with EPCM environments and interface governance.
- Exposure to large CAPEX projects is valued.
- Strong coordination risk awareness and fact-based decision support.
- English fluency; French is an asset.
