Doctoral degree either post-professional or DPT with advanced clinical specialization plus three (3) years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.
Physical therapy license or license eligible in Arkansas.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication organizational & interpersonal skills; ability to identify & solve problems.
Contemporary evidence-based clinical practice knowledge in geriatrics
Experience with conducting collaborative research in geriatrics
Publication/grantsmanship experience desired.
Responsibilities:
Assist the PI in planning organizing and implementing research activities in alignment with grant objectives as well as recruiting screening and enrolling study participants according to approved protocols.
Conducts physical therapy assessments interventions and standardized tests as required by the research design; collects records and manages study data with accuracy confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Monitors participant study progress while documenting observations and reporting concerns or protocol deviations to the PI.
Ensures adherence to ethical standards IRB requirements and all institutional and federal regulations while coordinating research appointments maintaining study schedules and providing clear instructions and support to participants.
Supports data analysis through data entry verification and preliminary interpretation.
Contributes to the preparation of reports presentations manuscripts grants and grant documentation; participates in team meetings and assists with problem-solving to maintain study efficiency.
Performs other related duties as assigned to support successful project completion.

This position is a Designated Research Position and is regulated by the Arkansas Research Education Protection Act of 2025.
