Product Engineering Lead

NeuronERP is redefining how enterprises run their operations by combining Oracle ERP systems with cutting-edge AI/ML automation. We are an early-stage high-velocity team building a category-defining product and we are looking for a Product Engineering Lead who can both code from day one and own the customer experience.

You will be one of the early leaders on the team accountable for outcomes helping to hire the right people and building a high-performing engineering organization.

What you will own

• Own the product and technical roadmap for your area balancing engineering feasibility with customer impact.
• Translate enterprise customer requirements into clear actionable product specs user stories and technical tasks.
• Write high-quality production code from day one and set the technical bar for the team.
• Run sprints prioritize features and ensure predictable delivery across US- and India-based teams.
• Serve as a trusted customer-facing lead: run discovery sessions demos and onsite workshops.
• Hire and develop engineers; help build a strong accountable engineering culture.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to make pragmatic technical tradeoffs.
• Identify opportunities where AI/ML can improve customer workflows and product efficiency.

Must-have skills & experience

• You are comfortable being hands-on: can design code review and ship features from day one.
• Strong backend development experience (e.g. Python APIs integrations); familiarity with modern frontend stacks.
• Proven ownership and accountability: youve led projects end to end and taken responsibility for results.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers and turning their needs into clear requirements and roadmap decisions.
• Define AI Agents/Assistants workflow. Experience in OpenAI platform and Anthropics Claude is required
• Ability to bridge engineering and product: you understand technical constraints but stay focused on business impact.
• Demonstrated leadership skills: prior experience building or scaling distributed teams across geographies (e.g. US and India).
• Strong communication skills: can explain complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in ambiguous fast-moving startup environments.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites a minimum 25% of the time.

Good to have

• Experience building or integrating large enterprise applications (ERP financial systems supply chain or similar).
• Experience in early-stage B2B SaaS startups especially in product-adjacent engineering roles.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud / Oracle ERP (Fusion/Cloud) or broader Oracle cloud architecture.

• Familiarity with AI/ML-based automation in enterprise workflows.

• You quickly understand NeuronERPs hybrid architecture (Oracle custom backend AI/ML) and can make informed product and engineering tradeoffs.
• You produce clear actionable requirements and technical plans that keep sprints predictable and engineers productive.
• You are trusted by both customers and engineers and reliably deliver high-value features on time.
• You help hire and ramp a strong team raising the bar for code quality velocity and accountability.
• You drive measurable impact: faster customer adoption fewer support issues and AI-enabled workflow improvements across key accounts.

Compensation Range

$110000 $150000 DOE
Compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience location and demonstrated skills. We consider factors such as years of relevant experience past impact in operational or startup roles and technical or analytical expertise when determining salary.
