Une offre de stage intitulée Analyse dimpact environnemental du développement de satellites (H/F) vient de souvrir chez Airbus Defence and Space à Toulouse-Palays. Vous intégrerez le département TSEE en charge de la création des solutions dingénierie pour le développement des systèmes spatiaux.
Votre stage consistera à soutenir la première étude dimpact environnemental dun système complet de télécommunications par satellite. Vous participerez à la collecte de données à la cartographie et à lanalyse préliminaire conformément à la future norme européenne PEFCR4Space.
Ce stage dune durée de 6 mois et débutera idéalement en janvier 2026 (date flexible).

Your mission :
An internship opportunity titled : Internship title Environmental Impact Analysis of Satellite Development(m/f) has just opened at Airbus Defense and Space located in Toulouse - Palays. You will join the TSEE department in charge of creating the engineering enablers for Space Systems development.
Your internship aims to support the first environmental impact study of a complete satellite telecommunication will contribute to data collection mapping and preliminary analysis in line and contributing to the forthcoming European standard PEFCR4Space
Ideally this is a 6 months internship and it should start in January 2026 (date subject to flexibility).
Your main missions will consist of :
Conduct an inventory of the materials equipment and subsystems composing the satellite system including interactions with suppliers.
Identify key production assembly and testing processes along with the resources they require.
Map and quantify material flows consumables and energy used across different manufacturing stages.
Perform a preliminary qualitative evaluation of the environmental impacts associated with these flows.
Work with project teams and potential external partners to consolidate and synthesize results according to PEFCR4Space guidelines.
Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills
This internship will allow you to develop the following skills:
Knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies applied to space activities.
Understanding of satellite manufacturing processes from subsystems to full integration.
Ability to manage and analyze environmental data.
Experience in collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams and industrial suppliers.
Awareness of European environmental standards and their application to the space sector
Your Boarding Pass:
You are preparing a diploma level MsC (last year / Bac5) in Engineering Environmental Sciences (or equivalent).
You possess the following competences:
- Technical skills :
- Basics of life cycle assessment or environmental impact analysis.
- Understanding of industrial production workflows (preferably aerospace/space).
- Ability to process and organize data using Excel or similar tools.
- Familiarity with environmental standards or interest in sustainability assessment.
- Soft Skills :
- Strong Autonomy Proactivitity and curiosity.
- analytical and synthesis abilities.
- Communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Capacity to handle complex and technical information
- Langues skills :
- English : intermediate/advanced
- French : advanced
