Job Description Summary
The CTE Welding Co-op will gain a broad understanding of AAMs process products procedures and systems by supporting implementation of new initiatives in Welding
Job Description:
- Perform daily cut-and-etch inspections to assess weld quality and material integrity.
- Learn and apply the repair welding process including preparation execution and quality verification.
- Complete repair welds on production components following plant standards and safety guidelines.
- Rotate through multiple manufacturing departments to gain a full understanding of plant operations workflows and quality processes.
- Support additional tasks as assigned to assist production quality and engineering teams
- Other responsibilities as assigned or required
Required Skills and Education
High school diploma GED equivalency or other high school equivalency credential required.
Must be able to sit/stand/walk as needed
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be selected from the approved apprenticeship program through St. Joseph County ISD
