Are you organized detail-oriented and eager to learn a new industry FNIC is looking for an Associate Placement Coordinator Commercial Insurance to support our Placement team with new and renewal business marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in insurance or transitioning from another field who is motivated to learn and grow.

No prior insurance experience is required were happy to train the right candidate who brings curiosity a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Whats the work like

As an Associate Placement Coordinator Commercial Insurance youll support the Placement team with administrative and marketing-related tasks that help ensure our clients receive timely and accurate insurance solutions. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation of new and renewal business marketing by reviewing applications and entering new clients
• Distributing new business and renewal accounts as directed by the Placement Manager including maintaining marketing reports
• Managing accounts that require rating and binding through Assigned Risk markets
• Creating BOR letters loss run request forms and insurance proposals
• Sending submissions to insurance partners as directed by the Placement team
• Entering insurance forms and related information into the Agency Management System
• Quoting accounts online with insurance carriers including single-line and package policies
• Following agency and departmental procedures
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information including Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Building technical knowledge through training newsletters bulletins and seminars
• Collaborating effectively with team members across the organization
• Maintaining regular and reliable attendance
• Supporting special projects and additional duties as assigned

What do I need to know

You have to have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Exposure to Property & Casualty insurance or interest in learning the industry
• Property & Casualty Insurance License or willingness to obtain upon hire
