Job Summary

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join an Outstanding-rated secondary school in Peterborough from January. This is a full-time permanent position within a highly successful and well-resourced Art department suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs who are ready to develop their practice in a supportive high-achieving environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. The successful candidate will deliver engaging well-structured lessons that develop students technical ability creative confidence and independent thinking. The department values a broad range of artistic approaches including drawing painting mixed media digital art and experimental techniques.

You will work collaboratively with experienced colleagues to plan schemes of work moderate coursework and support GCSE outcomes. There are also opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities such as exhibitions competitions and extra-curricular art clubs.
