• DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
  Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
  May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist Administrative Director or Operations Manager.
  Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and
  procedures is required.
  May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
  Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  Demonstrates proper operation of PACS HIS and RIS computer systems.
  Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR DR and PACs applications.
  Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens infection control and body substance isolation.
  Maintains department competencies as required.
  

• Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography

8hrs non-billable orientation
Holiday and OT Multipliers - 1.25%

• 2 Years X-Ray experience 1 YEAR CURRENT EXPERIENCE
• 2 Years Current MAMMOGRAPHY experience
• ARRT (R) Certification - Required
• ARRT (M) Certification - Required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• 10/12hour shift requests will NOT be considered for this need. Please make sure your traveler WILL work posted schedule before upload.
  
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• Perm address must be included in traveler profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
