Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position entails executing the silicon validation and characterization of cutting edge high-performance high-speed low power CMOS D2D and SERDES silicon interface following industry best practices.
You will be responsible for all or parts of the following areas:
- Bring up validate and characterize high-speed D2D and SERDES in new and existing silicon chips.
- Bench software and hardware integration bench setup
- Develop test methods to evaluate performance and calculate operating margins of high-speed serial interfaces across various conditions.
- Collaborate with design teams to improve testability and define test infrastructure logic.
- Write software routines (e.g. Python C/C) to bring up and validate D2D and SERDES IPs and integrate drivers with software teams.
- Analyze test results and document findings to provide insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 7 years of experience working with D2D and SERDES platforms.
- Knowledge of high-speed D2D and SERDES architectures (e.g. NRZ PAM4) and protocols.
- Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and BERTs.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SERDES calibration and understanding of signal integrity.
- Familiarity with high-speed protocols like UCIe Ethernet and PCIe.
- Ability to write comprehensive test reports and analyze boundary conditions.
