Description
In this role you will play a critical part in delivering quality medical services within the field of radiology. As a Locum MD/DO you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care performing diagnostic imaging and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and review medical histories
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with advancements in radiology and medical practices
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in radiology and diagnostic imaging
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred
Schedule: Saturday-Sunday 8a-9p
Setting: Remote
Reading ED cases
Daily Volume: 50 scans
50% general reads 40% CTs 10% other
Must be board-certified
