Job Summary
Responsibilities
Build and maintain headless Shopify storefronts using modern React frameworks (Hydrogen/Remix or ).
Implement storefront features using Shopify Storefront API (GraphQL) and Admin API where required.
Design and maintain secure reliable webhook handling (orders refunds customer/account events etc.).
Develop supporting services/middleware for business logic caching auth/security and performance.
Own storefront performance (Core Web Vitals) scalability and production stability.
Ensure SEO-friendly implementation (routing metadata structured data basics indexation hygiene).
Write clean maintainable code; add tests where appropriate; document key modules and workflows.
Manage deployments/environments; set up and maintain monitoring/logging and error tracking.
Diagnose and fix production issues quickly with strong root-cause analysis.
Requirements
Required skills & experience
Strong hands-on Shopify expertise (beyond theme edits) including platform constraints and best practices.
Proven experience delivering headless Shopify storefronts in production.
Strong React skills and modern frontend engineering practices.
Working experience with (APIs webhooks services).
Solid understanding of ecommerce flows: catalog cart checkout lifecycle payments refunds.
Performance optimization experience (SSR caching strategies bundle optimization).
Git-based workflows and comfort with code reviews and CI/CD basics.
Nice to have
Deep experience with Hydrogen/Remix.
headless commerce experience.
Experience with Shopify Functions apps ecosystem and checkout extensibility (where applicable).
Experience with observability tools (Sentry/Datadog/etc.) and incident response practices.
