This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 global investment bank on a large-scale technology programme.
Overview
We are supporting a premier investment banking client with an urgent requirement for multiple Full Stack Java Developers to join a high-performing engineering team in Bournemouth. The programme is long-term business-critical and offers exposure to complex enterprise-scale systems.
The Role
The client is seeking a blend of Senior/Lead-level and MidSenior Full Stack Java Developers to support the design development and enhancement of core platforms. You will work closely with engineering architecture and product teams to deliver robust scalable solutions.
Design develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications
Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
Collaborate with front-end developers using ReactJS where required
Write clean maintainable and well-tested code
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives
Senior/Lead-level candidates will also provide technical guidance and mentoring
Strong Core Java development experience (essential)
Full Stack experience including exposure to ReactJS
Advanced experience with Spring / Spring Boot
A mix of Full Stack and Core Java specialists can be considered
Senior / Lead level: 710 years experience
MidSenior level: 46 years experience
