Job Summary
Quality Inspector 2nd shift
Location: Waukegan/Gurnee area
MondayThursday 3:30 PM 2:00 AM (3-day weekends!)
Pay: $18 $25/hour (based on experience)
Full Benefits Package after 60 days

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work problem-solving and making a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What Youll Do
Inspect materials in-process and finished products
Use precision tools (calipers micrometers gauges etc.)
Document results and maintain quality records
Support continuous improvement and ISO 9000 standards
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet blueprint and customer specifications
What Were Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
35 years of experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing (sheet metal welding or related environment)
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and manufacturing prints
Proficient in using measuring tools (calipers micrometers height gauges etc.)
Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and Statistical Process Control (23 years)
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
Excellent communication problem-solving skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes
Hands-on metal fabrication experience
Preferred Skills (a big plus!)
Certified AS9100 Internal Quality Auditor
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
CMM experience
Bilingual (Spanish)
