Description

Program participants will join the JPMorganChase team in Argentina and will receive multiple trainings to develop professional turn they will also be taught the culture and structure of the company.

This part-time opportunity is open to advanced accountancy students from all universities who are at least half way into their degree and with an advanced level of English with no previous work experience. We are looking for students who are eager to learn proactive creative curious and self-initiated.

Our Finance & Business Management line of business is seeking a motivated participant to join the Argentina Branch Legal Entity Controllers (LEC) team based in Buenos Aires. The LEC team is responsible for preparing financial statements under both US GAAP and IFRS as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to interact with multiple lines of business and internal stakeholders while gaining comprehensive knowledge of legal entity controllership.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal entity accounting and control on a monthly basis including the month-end close process review of inter-entity breaks and monitoring of unnatural general ledger balances.
  • Perform monthly accruals and conduct detailed analysis and understanding of expenses impacting the P&L.
  • Carry out periodic banking reconciliations.
  • Manage vendor invoicing and weekly report on invoice status.
  • Ensure active participation and comfort during internal and external audits.
  • Enhance the efficiency and control of reconciliations.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced students of Accounting.
  • Expected graduation in Dec 2026 to mid 2027.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and Outlook.
  • Program length: 18 months maximum
  • Workload: 19 hours per week available.
