JOB SUMMARY
The University of Connecticut is accepting applications and nominations for the full-time position of Special Assistant to the Head Football Coach.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting the Head Football Coach in the overall scope of managing the football program; oversight of the planning and execution of the football operations; assist with all mentorship and professional development programs for football student-athletes; provide instruction to student-athletes on developing leadership skills and building professional networking connections/skills; providing support for practice and game preparation including attending meetings related to coaching activities which include game analysis and review of game film; assisting as needed with data collection including the tracking of team performance statistics during competitions and practice sessions; assist the General Manager with communication efforts with prospective student-athletes and their families; and other program duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
