Job Summary
** Housing is NOT provided. PLEASE have RNs look into this prior to submittal/acceptance.!!!! Plenty of hotels in the area but they are a little higher on price right now so an RV is preferred!! ** MedSurg (Inpatient Medical Surgical Adult Care Unit (ACU):o Minimum of 3 years nursing experienceo Minimum of 2 years in the specialtyo AHA certifications required: BLS ACLS PALS Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) is optional Nurse specialty certifications (e.g. CNOR Fetal Monitoring) are preferred All available health documents (not required but preferred at submittal)MUST know they could be floated to PEDS if they have any exp in PEDS. Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans. Prepares and administers (orally subcutaneously through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Educates patients on surgical procedures.
