Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
Leads development of data-driven space allocation strategies that maximize ROI and sales lift across store formats
Develops comprehensive financial models connecting space analytics to profitability metrics
Drives strategic integration of analytical tools and floor planning tools to create unified recommendations
Establishes strong partnerships with Store Design to align on fixture strategies and space utilization
Leads ROI measurement frameworks for space optimization initiatives
Provides strategic oversight to floor planning team and ensures alignment with space analytics insights
Drives collaboration between space analytics merchandising and store design teams
Leads test & learn initiatives to quantify space changes impact
- Experience managing teams
- Bachelors degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination
- Proven track record of connecting analytics to P&L impact
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
- Understanding of floor planning principles and processes
- Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to link space analytics to sales lift and ROI
- Experience with space elasticity modeling and floor planning tools
- Track record of successful Store Design partnerships
- Retail/Space Analytics experience
- Proven ability to optimize multiple analytical tools for strategic recommendations
- Excellence in translating complex space analytics into actionable business insights
- Strong track record of Store Design collaboration and fixture strategy development
- Experience driving cross-functional alignment between analytics and design teams
- Strategic understanding of floor planning principles and their impact on space optimization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
