Commercial Manager
Location: Dublin 15
Salary: Up to 120000 (DOE)
Working Pattern: 45 days per week in the office
A leading specialist contractor delivering high-value mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Dublin 15.
This role would suit an established Commercial Manager or a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a broader commercial leadership position.
The Role
As Commercial Manager you will take full commercial responsibility for M&E projects from pre-contract through to final account ensuring strong financial performance robust cost control and effective risk management.
Key responsibilities include:
Commercial oversight of mechanical and electrical projects
Cost management forecasting and reporting
Contract administration and change control
Management and development of QS/commercial teams
Liaising closely with project managers engineers and senior leadership
Supporting procurement and subcontractor negotiations
Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual obligations
About You
We are looking for someone with:
Third level Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with design team / client / meetings etc.
Good attention to detail with an analytical approach and ability to work using your own initiative.
