Role

Are you a bachelor student starting your second or third semester in January 2026 motivated by statistical programming and eager to gain hands-on experience in the clinical development landscape Join Genmabs Development Operations Business Effectiveness team to support Statistical Programming as a student worker and gain exposure to real-world programming data-driven biotech environment while contributing to meaningful advancements in clinical development. Clinical and statistical programming shortens the path from data to insight enabling smarter decisions through high-quality programming pragmatic innovation and scalable delivery. As a student worker you will become part of a student team supporting our department that transforms scientific strategy into operational execution.

Responsibilities

You will support the Statistical Programming team in Development Operations department. Your tasks will include:

  • Support the development and prototyping of small internal statistical programming tools using R or Python
  • Assist with software IT qualification activities
  • Work with clinical data standards and metadata (e.g. CDISC).
  • Opportunities to gain exposure to SAS-based workflows.

Metadata & Data Standards

  • Work with clinical data standards and metadata (e.g. CDISC SDTM/ADaM controlled terminology).
  • Assist in maintaining internal metadata libraries and programming templates.
  • Help ensure consistent application of data standards across studies
  • Contribute to the testing and validation of programming tools and solutions.

Quality Compliance & Documentation

  • Support quality control checks on programming outputs metadata files or small tools.
  • Assist with documentation activities including maintaining guidelines tracking training records and updating QMS documents.
  • Perform eTMF-related spot checks (e.g. verifying documentation completeness or metadata correctness).
  • Assist in preparing materials for audits and inspections.

Collaboration & Learning

  • Participate in departmental knowledge-sharing sessions and optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support digital solution implementation.
  • Gain exposure to regulatory aspects (e.g. GCP GDPR) relevant to digital clinical solutions.

Requirements

We are seeking a service-minded and highly detail-oriented student passionate about statistical programming who meets the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree preferably within computer science data science engineering life sciences or similar but not required starting your second or third semester in January 2026.
  • Some familiarity with R or Python; interest in learning SAS.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in programming and data-driven tasks.
  • Willingness to learn about data standards and curious about prototyping tools supporting IT qualification tasks and working with AI and automation.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • The preferred candidate has prior experience from a similar student job.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to balance technical development work and administrative responsibilities.
  • Experience with document management or structured workflows is a plus but not required.
  • Service-minded with a quality-focused mindset.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Takes ownership and demonstrates a high level of conscientiousness.
  • Eager to learn and adaptable to changes.
