About the Home

Carinya Aged Care is Located in the leafy inner Adelaide suburb of Myrtle Bank on a beautiful Jacaranda tree lined street our heritage styled home is close to the local shopping centre of Burnside Village.

Carinya is a boutique Signature Home that exudes warmth and intimacy. We offer residents the choice of large single and twin rooms with adjoining ensuites. Our home is purposefully designed with community spaces internal courtyards and garden areas where residents families and friends can enjoy fresh air and colourful gardens.

About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about Aged Care and Nursing Then this is the role for you. We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on aPermanent Parttime basis with penalty rates in play.
The Shifts are as below available:

Week 1 Mon 0700-1515 (temp)

Week1 Tues 0700-1500(temp)

Week1 Wednesday 0700-1515(temp)

Week 1 Friday 1500-2315 (perm)

Week2 Mon 0700-1500(temp)

Week2 Tuesday 0700-1500(temp)

Week2 Wednesday 0700-1515(temp)

Week2 Thursday 1500-2315 (temp)

Week 2 Friday 1500-2315 (perm)

The Role

As a Registered Nurse youll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are include:

Providing and monitoring the care of residents
Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team

To be successful you will have

Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge)
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
Complete a police check
Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and all levels of staff
Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
