Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Events and Engagement Adviser to join Te Kōkī - New Zealand School of Music (NZSM) on a permanent part-time basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan manage and actively participate in the organisation and delivery of the NZSMs busy and varied event calendar.
  • Plan and support engagement and recruitment activities for the NZSM with the wider University and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver high level events and engagement activities which contribute to the NZSMs reputation and public profile.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will be a motivated customer-focused individual who can take the initiative provide excellent administration and deliver a professional public-facing event.

Key requirements:

  • Proven events and project management experience.
  • Understanding of event and engagement best practice.
  • Demonstrated experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships.
