Job Summary
As an entry-level Consultant within Oracles Financial Services Consulting team you will leverage your technical skills and passion for the banking sector to deliver implement and support the next generation of Oracle banking products. You will participate in end-to-end project delivery for Oracle Digital Banking solutions working closely with both clients and Oracle teams to ensure successful deployments and ongoing support.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
14 years experience in software development implementation or support with at least 1 year in core skill areas.
Proficiency in Core Java J2EE Microservices technologies (e.g. Spring Boot JavaScript XML).
Exposure to banking domain digital banking applications and relevant terminologies.
Familiarity with Oracle SQL PL/SQL and Oracle Database (18c/12c) and deployment/troubleshooting on Oracle WebLogic.
Knowledge of release management source control tools and software development best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English including documentation and client interaction.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel work shifts and pursue Oracle Banking certifications as required.
Good-to-Have:
Experience with cloud/SaaS deployments Agile/DevOps tools and testing tools.
Knowledge of Oracle OBIEE Reports BIP and Oracle Fusion SOA Suite.
Previous experience with core banking applications.
Awareness of software development processes for cloud and on-premise environments.

Document work accurately and comprehensively adhering to Oracle/client standards and compliance requirements.
Contribute to issue tracking problem resolution and follow-up coordination with stakeholders to drive solutions.
Support the deployment and troubleshooting of applications particularly on Oracle WebLogic and related platforms.
Engage in regular reporting of status timely completion of timesheets/expenses and effective handover/knowledge transfer.
Foster constructive client interactions clearly presenting solutions and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
