The Retail Activation Specialist (RAS) is responsible for assisting in preparation and providing operational analytical and executional support to the Retail Activation Manager in: (a) implementing retail activation programs and in-store Trade marketing brand activations and Merchandising initiatives (b) keeping track and monitoring executional deliverables and merchandising standards (c) analysing relevant implementation metrics (d) providing insights for continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Retail Activation Manager the RAS collaborates closely with the Trade Marketing Manager as well as Marketing and Commercial teams guaranteeing consistency and effectiveness in delivering the Retails Activation team plan and objectives.
1. Retail Activation Coordination:
Coordinate cross- functional execution by working with internal teams (Commercial Teams Retail Activation team Marketing Operations) and external agencies to ensure timely and effective execution of in-store activities.
Confirm proper placement and visibility of trade and merchandising materials according to brand standards and trade marketing plans
Track timelines and budgets for retail activations promptly reporting any deviations or risks to the Retail Activation Manager.
Conduct store visits to verify merchandising quality planogram compliance and product availability.
2. Data Management and Performance Tracking
Maintain accurate records of activation plans materials and execution status.
Prepare regular reports on activation performance including KPIs and ROI analysis.
Collect and consolidate feedback from field teams to track and monitor implementation and progress identifying improvement opportunities.
3. Data Analysis
Provide detailed reports on activation results across various teams
Analyse performance metrics
Make recommendations to improve future activations and retail strategies.
4 Administrative & Operational Support
Manage documentation related to retail activation projects including purchase orders and vendor agreements.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
Support the development of new activation concepts and retail engagement initiatives.
