About the Position:

We are currently hiring for Secondary Technical Education teachers specifically trained in construction manufacturing transportation and cosmetology.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing). Candidates with Transitional Certificates welcome to apply.
  • Secondary Teachers must holdTechnologyqualifications in Intermediate and Senior divisions.
  • Skill sets education lived experiences backgrounds and various work/volunteer experience that may be considered valuable to the position.
  • Commitment to building inclusive and accessible learning and working environments where every student sees themselves reflected in the curriculum classrooms and schools.
  • Availability and commitment to work a minimum of 10 full days per school year.

Additional Assets:

  • Experience working with diverse communities in high-priority schools and/or abroad.
  • Additional AQs.
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
  • Ability and willingness to contribute to a fulsome school community through participation in cocurricular activities events and/or committees.

Hourly Rate:

Daily rate of pay start at $289.47 (includes 4% vacation pay).

Individual wage for Long-Term Occasional work is based on related experience in the trade which will determine your level of credit received on the salary grid.
