ONBOARDING SPECIALIST

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists you will support the relationship between when a candidate signs and offer letter to their first day. This involves managing a mix of a virtual and onsite candidates to support the entire onboarding experience such as maintaining a pre-hire portal all pre-hire communications and onboarding presentation. This individual will ensure we are meeting ITAR and I-9 requirements and attend all onboarding meetings.

WHAT YOULL GET TO DO:

Support the design onboarding from start to finish for specific domestic locations
Support pre-hire communication approach from when offer is signed through employees first day as defined by the manager.
Manage onboarding inquires via the standard ticketing system to ensure metrics are captured that are associated with onboarding
Suggest methods to update simplify or enhance processes procedures and technologies
Manage virtual ITAR document verification across all locations
Support all tasks assigned by the Onboarding Manager
Manage I9 document verification and processing for specific location

YOULL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

HS Diploma and 4 years of HR experience
Experience onboarding in Workday
Experience using Workday as an HRIS
Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

Experience supporting onboarding for multiple locations
Experience crafting and managing pre-hire communications
Experience managing I-9 federal compliance requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to focus.
Regularly required to sit use hands and fingers operate computer keyboard and controls and communicate verbally and in writing.
Must be physically able to commute to buildings
Occasional exposure to dust fumes and moderate levels of noise

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills education and experience.
