Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Superintendent to oversee multiple low voltage installation scopes within mission-critical data center environments. This position is responsible for overall field execution coordination and quality across projects serving as the primary on-site leadership representative. The Superintendent provides strategic direction to foremen and crews ensures schedule adherence maintains safety and quality standards and acts as the key liaison between internal teams clients and general contractors.
Key Responsibilities

Provide overall on-site leadership for low voltage installation projects including structured cabling and supporting infrastructure in data center environments.

Direct and support Foremen and field crews responsible for installation of:

Review interpret and ensure execution in accordance with project drawings specifications schedules and scope documents.

Plan and coordinate manpower sequencing and daily/weekly work activities across multiple crews or project phases.
-
Serve as the primary point of contact with general contractors clients commissioning teams and data center operations personnel.

Monitor project progress identify risks or constraints and proactively implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.

Enforce quality control standards across all installations including cabling terminations labeling pathways and rack layouts.

Ensure strict adherence to safety policies local codes data center protocols and company standards.
-
Oversee material planning deliveries inventory control and tool management to support efficient project execution.

Review and validate daily reports labor tracking and progress documentation submitted by Foremen.

Mentor train and develop Foremen and technicians to improve performance leadership capability and safety awareness.
Qualifications
-
5 8 years of experience in low voltage or structured cabling environments with at least 2 years in a Superintendent or senior leadership role.

Extensive experience working in live mission-critical data center environments is required.

Strong working knowledge of TIA/EIA standards structured cabling systems fiber optics pathways and rack-based installations.

Proven ability to manage multiple crews schedules and priorities simultaneously.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing coordination and field logistics.
-
Ability to read interpret and enforce construction drawings specifications and project schedules.
-
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Comfortable operating in high-security climate-controlled environments with strict operational protocols.
-
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
-
BICSI certification or equivalent industry credentials strongly preferred.
Requirements

Ability to pass background checks and drug screening required for data center access.

Physically capable of site walks inspections and occasional hands-on support (lifting up to 50 lbs climbing ladders as needed).

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
-
Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights or weekends based on project requirements.
