Job Summary

12 month Fixed-Term Contract

Full-Time (37 hours per week)

Were looking for a Telephony Switchover Officer to lead our migration from analogue to digital telephony across the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to work across all areas of SHG upgrading infrastructure that supports some of our most vulnerable customers.


In this role youll:
Take ownership of the digital switchover project acting as the main point of contact.
Investigate and trace existing telephony connections analyse billing and evaluate current services.
Coordinate with third-party suppliers on-site teams and installers to implement cost-effective solutions.
Ensure continuity for critical services and minimise downtime for non-critical services.
Keep stakeholders informed through clear documentation and regular updates.


Were looking for someone with:
Strong organisational and planning skills able to manage priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams and suppliers.
Investigative and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
Knowledge of telephony infrastructure (voice and data) and a proactive approach to learning.
A valid driving licence access to a car and business insurance for travel.
