Job Summary
Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level in a hands-on manufacturing environment Serigraph is looking for a Working Supervisor to guide and develop a high-performing production team in our IG and SG divisions. As a Working Supervisor at Serigraph youll play a critical role in ensuring production runs smoothly team members are trained and supported and our commitment to continuous improvement remains strong. Youll be the go-to leader on the floor driving results while cultivating a positive accountable and high-performing culture.
Working Supervisor Responsibilities -
- Enforce safety policies good housekeeping practices and incident reporting.
- Train co-workers on acceptable quality levels and update procedures as needed.
- Communicate workload instructions and production priorities to team; coordinate with other shift supervisors.
- Monitor and drive operational efficiency across machines and personnel.
- Maintain production records and oversee routine equipment maintenance.
- Evaluate co-worker performance administer discipline per guidelines and recommend HR actions.
- Accurately review and approve timesheets and PTO for all supervised employees to ensure timely and correct payroll processing.
- Hold regular team meetings to ensure alignment and team engagement.
- Perform minor machine setups repairs and operations as needed.
- Regularly completes quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
- Ensure quality and stop production to correct quality concerns. Inform management of products and/or processes that do not conform to requirements.
- Ensure all environmental practices and materials are handled and disposed of per appropriate procedures in your area.
- Support Serigraph current quality business system and understand use of SPECS the Serigraph quality manual.
What we are looking for in a Working Supervisor -
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret job tickets and enter information in the ERP system.
- Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices.
- Understand departmental procedures and policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong skills in Excel.
- Previous leadership or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
