Job Summary

Printpacks manufacturing facility in Rhinelander WI is seeking a qualified candidate for the Laminating & Slitting Manager position. This position will report to the Production Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Champion plant safety by engaging personally and through departmental leadership to drive safety compliance improvement projects and associate engagement.
Develop front-line production leaders and departmental culture by applying the Printpack Core Values and Expectations of Leaders.
Efficiently manage the production function by following established production schedules to maximize the utilization of equipment and associates within the department.
Uphold standards and drive out defects to improve product quality.
Provide coaching performance reviews and performance feedback to associates to ensure all performance goals of the plant in relation to 5S safety waste quality and productivity are achieved
Improve upon existing methods procedures and standards or initiate new ones to maximize production quality and minimize waste without jeopardizing safety.
Partner with the Performance System Manager to transform the Production function through the Performance (Continuous Improvement) System.
Develop and execute staffing plans combined with talent development to achieve performance goals.
Track production performance through reporting and visual management tools to support Printpacks Key Success Factors.
