Your Team Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Client Service Associate to join our Client Service team within MSCIs Client Coverage Organization.
- The Global Client Service Team is comprised of skilled financial professionals who provide first-tier support to clients across the world. As part of this global network you will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive timely high-quality service and gain maximum value from their MSCI solutions.
- In this role you will be responsible for addressing a wide range of access related methodology usage interpretational and technical queries related to Real Assets Market Data and Portfolio Services products. You will support clients across the EMEA region focusing on proactive engagement throughout the client journey from onboarding and adoption to ongoing usage and relationship health.
- Client interactions will primarily occur via email and telephone requiring strong communication skills problem-solving ability and product knowledge.
As a Client Service Associate you will collaborate closely with Senior Client Service colleagues as well as partners from Sales Client Consultant Product Management Program Management Data and Research teams to deliver a seamless client experience. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening MSCIs long-term client relationships and overall client satisfaction.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide premium service to assigned accounts ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships by proactively sharing updates on product enhancements new releases and relevant announcements.
- Manage client expectations effectively and take full ownership of support issues through to resolution.
- Support the Client Coverage teams across Europe the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to enhance the overall client experience.
- Contribute to service reviews service plans and renewal initiatives in collaboration with account managers and other stakeholders.
- Respond to detailed client inquiries regarding MSCI Real Assets products including Market Data Portfolio Services RCA Portfolio Climate Insights Portfolio Income Insights and others.
- Provide onboarding product training and walkthroughs for clients to ensure full adoption and understanding of solutions.
- Liaise with other MSCI departments to ensure all clients requests/inquiries are managed appropriately.
- Champion process improvements to drive efficiency scalability and best practice adoption within the client service function.
- Participate in and contribute to projects that enhance operational excellence and client engagement.
- Stay informed about MSCI product updates methodology changes and new product launches.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- 2-5 years of work experience; Relevant experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and methodologies to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in handling data-driven tasks.
- A self-starter with high motivation accountability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client issues simultaneously and maintain focus until resolution.
- Comfortable working across diverse teams and cultures with a genuine appreciation for global collaboration.
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline (required).
- Masters degree in finance or professional certifications such as CFA CAIA or CA (preferred)
- Prior experience in client facing role preferably within financial services domain.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and Gainsight (preferred).
- Familiarity with AI tools and digital productivity applications.
