Custodian

Witco is looking for an AbilityOne Custodian to join the team. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public buildings in Canyon County. The intent of AbilityOne is to promote work and training opportunities for individuals who have a severe disability Thus only individuals with disabilities will be considered for this position.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs labor associated with custodial services.
• Duties include performance of custodial duties including but not limited to collecting and deposing of garbage vacuuming mopping buffing waxing floors dusting cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms kitchen areas and appliances window and glass cleaning.
• Maintain outside grounds picking up debris work such as trimming raking weed pulling sweeping of sidewalks picking up debris around the property. Snow removal or application of ice melt in winter months.
• Must be able to complete duties within hours scheduled.
• Perform quality work that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Comply with all safety guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to work independently
• Dependability common sense and good judgement
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow given instructions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment security background check and drug screen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior Custodial Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
