The Commander Maritime Reserves (CMR) commands the Royal Naval and Royal Marines Reserves known collectively as the Maritime Reserves (MR).
The purpose of the MR as set out in the Command Plan is to provide sufficient capable and motivated personnel at readiness to reinforce Regular Forces and the requirements of MRDs.
The function of the MR HQ is to set and shape the conditions by which the MR are able to generate and maintain capability at readiness support of the Naval Service.
PURPOSES
Primary Purpose:
To support Captain Recruiting and Attraction (R & A) as the MR recruitment SME and to have oversight and influence over the recruitment and training pipeline driving the performance of the pipeline managers in the MR Units.
Secondary Purposes:
Support SO1 Recruiting Force in the development of Recruitment Campaigns and Media Communications.
Support SO1 Policy in the development of Recruitment Policy and recruitment data management.
ACCOUNTABILITY
CMR HQ SO2 Recruiting is directly accountable to SO1 Recruiting Force and will work full time on FTRS from R & A HQ.
AUTHORITY
CMR HQ SO2 Recruiting has delegated authority from DACOS (Res) to:

To work at R & A HQ and operate remotely when and where required.
