Job Summary

Job Title: IT Engineer Systems & Network

Location: Lahore Pakistan

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Engineer with hands-on experience in systems administration and network management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining monitoring and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install configure and maintain servers workstations and networking equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to LAN/WAN VPN and wireless networks.
Manage Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policies and file servers.
Implement and maintain IT security measures including firewalls antivirus and intrusion detection systems.
Perform regular system backups disaster recovery operations and software updates/patching.
Provide technical support to end-users resolving hardware software and network issues efficiently.
Document IT infrastructure processes and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for system upgrades procurement and IT projects.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a System/Network Engineer IT Support Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server Linux networking protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP) routers switches and firewalls.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory Group Policy Management and virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Azure or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills to support users and coordinate with internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CCNA CompTIA Network Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or MCSA.
Experience in IT project management and implementing ITIL best practices.
