Lecturer Plumbing & Gas

Are you passionate about shaping the future of the plumbing and gas industry Doncaster College is seeking a dedicated and experiencedPlumbing and Gas Lecturerto join our Construction department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of tradespeople and contribute to a thriving curriculum area.

Youll be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment across apprenticeship standards and further education courses. Youll also lead on curriculum development manage classroom environments and support learners in achieving their full potential.

Essential Criteria

• Professional technical qualification at Level 3 or above or a relevant degree
• Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
• Substantial industrial experience in plumbing and gas
• Strong organisational analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexibly including evenings

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and assess learners across FE and apprenticeship programmes
• Develop curriculum materials and contribute to subject area innovation
• Lead and coordinate course teams to ensure effective programme delivery
• Support learners through coaching mentoring and guidance
• Participate in recruitment enrolment and quality assurance processes
