Job Description
Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Established agency seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge and understanding of commercial lines insurance coverage. The ideal candidate is familiar with all major coverage lines and experienced working with both admitted and non-admitted carriers.
Responsibilities
Manage and retain a designated book of commercial accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients and key decision-makers
Handle renewals quoting endorsements certificates and policy changes
Partner with producers and carriers to deliver tailored risk solutions
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to strengthen client protection
Provide clear communication and education to clients on coverage and policy details
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency standards
Support clients with prompt professional problem-solving and follow-through
Qualifications
Experience in commercial property and casualty insurance service or account management
Strong understanding of commercial coverages (GL Property Auto Workers Comp Umbrella Cyber etc.)
Excellent communication organizational and multitasking skills
Customer-first mindset with the ability to build trust and rapport
Active P&C license
Experience in a brokerage setting
510 years of experience in commercial lines
