Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Laboratory Supervisorfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Bradenton FL.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Science or Medical Technology required; Bachelors degree in Medical Technology preferred.
- Active Florida Supervisors License required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Licensure in three technical specialties preferred.
- Strong analytical leadership and communication abilities.
- Proven skill in workflow oversight quality management and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise both technical and non-technical lab staff assigning personnel to appropriate areas and shifts to maintain adequate coverage.
- Manage workflows service levels productivity measures and regulatory compliance within designated laboratory sections.
- Support operations across testing disciplines specimen collection processing and referral testing.
- Develop and maintain systems for collecting documenting and reporting quality assessment and improvement data.
- Implement corrective action plans based on QA/QI findings and monitor performance for sustained improvement.
- Oversee resource utilizationincluding labor supplies and operational costsand contribute to operational reviews.
- Provide coaching training and performance development to enhance staff engagement and professional growth.
- Participate in hiring activities including interviewing and selecting qualified candidates.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies CLIA regulations state licensure requirements and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and optimize laboratory operations.
