Flexible opportunity for an experienced RICS Quantity Surveyor to work remotely preparing estimates managing costs and supporting project delivery for a growing building company.

We are seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor or QS/Estimator to support cost planning tender preparation and project evaluation within a growing building firm. The role offers remote working flexibility and involvement in varied residential and commercial projects.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for tender submissions
Reviewing drawings specifications and project documents
Sourcing supplier and subcontractor quotations
Supporting tender documentation cost plans and budgets
Maintaining updated cost databases for labour materials and equipment
Identifying risks and assessing potential cost impacts
Monitoring and reporting cost variations
Staying informed on building regulations materials and pricing developments

What Were Looking For (Skills & Experience):

RICS qualified or equivalent professional accreditation
Experience in estimating or quantity surveying
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in Excel and standard office software
Confident communicator with negotiation awareness
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable organised and able to meet deadlines
