What youll do
Provide clear and timely legal and E&C advice and support to Nutreco China.
Draft review and negotiate commercial contracts with strong attention to risk management and contribute to the maintenance of the contract management system.
Contribute to the development monitoring and implementation of Legal and E&C policies procedures and templates in Mandarin and English.
Deliver training on Legal and E&C topics in both Mandarin and English.
Maintain structured reporting to the BU Asia Lead Counsel demonstrating transparency and consistency in monitoring compliance with laws regulations and Nutrecos policies.

Who were looking for
Were looking for someone who is responsible accountable and ready to Own this role. Someone with a proven track record in contract competition and corporate law and motivated by ensuring business integrity through robust Ethics & Compliance (E&C).

You will also need
Law degree from a reputable university.
Minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience ideally with a major law firm and/or within the legal or compliance function of a multinational company. Experience in M&A activities is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of contract law competition law and corporate law. Knowledge of data protection or food law is an advantage.
Affinity with E&C with willingness to further develop expertise in this area. Experience as an E&C Officer is an advantage.
Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex matters clearly concisely and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of Chinas evolving legal landscape particularly in commercial law cross-border transactions and data privacy.
Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English.
