The Team Leader Document Controller (m/f/d) is responsible for overseeing the document control functions within the organization. This role ensures that all project documents are accurately managed stored and distributed in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Team Leader (m/f/d) will lead a team of document controllers ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and manage a team of document controllers.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Ensure all documents are properly received logged reviewed and distributed.
- Maintain an organized and accessible document management system.
- Implement and enforce document control procedures and standards.
- Ensure all documents comply with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy and integrity.
- Identify and resolve any document control issues or discrepancies.
- Provide training to team members on document control processes and systems.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and implement improvements as necessary.
- Liaise with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure document requirements are met.
- Prepare and present reports on document control activities and metrics.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Management or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in a construction engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of document control principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in document management software and systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Certification in Document Control or a related field.
- Experience with ISO standards and quality management systems.
