Job Summary
Irwin Lincoln Mazda is seeking an experienced and dependable Used Vehicle Technician to join our growing service team. This role is essential to our pre-owned operationensuring every vehicle on our lot meets our high standards for safety performance and quality. As a family-owned dealership for over 60 years we value integrity teamwork and long-term employee growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections on incoming used vehicles
- Diagnose and repair engines brakes suspension electrical systems HVAC and other components
- Complete maintenance and reconditioning work such as oil changes filters tires alignments and general repairs
- Identify needed repairs and clearly communicate findings to the team
- Ensure all work meets dealership OEM and safety requirements
- Accurately document all services performed on repair orders
- Maintain an organized clean and safe work area
- Work efficiently to meet used vehicle reconditioning timelines and production goals
Qualifications
- Automotive technician experience required (dealership or independent shop)
- Strong diagnostic electrical and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using diagnostic tools and scan equipment
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable positive and team-oriented attitude
