Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care in an acute care hospital setting. The clinician will work Monday through Friday with the expectation of covering one weekend per month. This role involves both acute care and outpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Provide Occupational Therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Conduct evaluations to determine treatment goals through collaboration with patients families and healthcare professionals.
Complete required documentation recordkeeping and reports promptly and accurately.
Attend clinics rounds and conferences to deliver patient updates and clinical information.
Interact with and educate patient families as part of the treatment process.
Maintain treatment equipment and therapy supplies.
Participate in staff education and training programs as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of practice.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
Active NY OT license or license-eligible.
Minimum 2 years of experience required.
Must have both acute care and outpatient experience.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
